I try not to think of them, they depress me with how awful of a franchise they have been. Seriously, they started out 4-1...last season? or the season before? And they always manage to screw it up and finish 3rd or 4th...pathetic. Personally, Kitna shouldn't be the choice, Josh McCown is a promising young QB that is better in the long run, Kitna is already a little aged. They have three first round picks from 2003, 2004, and 2005 at WR...and they don't even have a passing game. The run game needs help from better O-Line man and probably a most talented rusher, Jones isn't really a high class guy...Have to feel bad for Barry Sanders that he was on that team....poor guy.
Lions will finish dead last in NFC North provided Green Bay hangs onto their running backs...sorry if you're a Lions fan, but I like to see pride it teams, even bad ones. I cheered for my Panthers when they had that dismal 1-15 season, even in week 17 when they were 1-14 I was still with them, just not bragging about it...:P

#1 the guy that said the winner of the NFC North will be 7-9 is an idiot. Secondly the Lions who happen to be my second favorite team will be good, not playoff good, but good. They got a new RB Brian Calhoun who is finally going to lift our spirits. Kevin Jones tried but he just dosent have the total package were looking for. As for Kitna he is gonna be around for a year or two and won't run the team into the ground like Joey or Mike but wont be much better. I know this sounds bad but we need to get a FA WR because Roy can't do it all by himself especially without a big time TE or RB. Hope your as siked for kickoff as me

Rod Marinelli is probably the #1 motivator in the NFL and if he cant get the Lions to win nobody can. With his coaching staff and the talent he has they should be great next year. They just need to weed out the slackers. I personally am pulling for them to do well but like I said wait a year then ask this question again.

They are going to stink just like the rest of the NFC North. The winner of the division will be no better than 7-9

There is not the remotest possibility that the Lions will even look like an NFL team. They need to start the housecleaning with Matt(know nothing)Millen.

They'll be better than last year-but that ain't saying much
Kitna is a pro-but not the long term answer
If Millen had any sense of dignity he would have quit by now. he has turned the franchise into the laughingstock of the league.

i think they can do pretty good this year, im a big fan of charles rogers and mike williams and hate hearing thier on 3rd string or might get cut, i really hope they can turn it around and stay with the team, and kevin jones is a good back.. but i really like calhoun he was great in college, i kno its a diffrent game but he is really fast and has good hands, oh yea look out for ernie sims this year!
