chakras are the 7 major points of energy that flow thru your body.
You see this in Indian and Asian cultures however it has become more popular in western civilizations in the last century.

You have all 7 of them, it just depends if they are balanced or not.
They are the colors of the rainbow.

This is a pretty indepth topic to answer but can find plenty of good books and websites that will explain it in more detail.
