Is there a book on how to start a student council in a middle school?

Check out this web site for a step by step instructions to start a student council. Please don't start one if the kids who get on the council don't do anything. My son was on his council for two years in middle school. During the second year the faculty adviser did nothing. This was disappointing for the kids.

Not that I know of. But if you really want a middle school, go talk to your teacher or principal. I doubt that they would disagree.
