Yes definatley it is worth all the money i got one recently and ROCKS so far i havent witnissed any problems...but if you want a more gaming experience i suggest getting the Core but the platinum system is alot more customizable and has alot of cool features i recently have got the games

But i think the Nintendo Wii is going to be good nintendo has not had a great system since 64...but the PS3 will definatley not be worth waiting for i seen a sneak preview of Mercenaries2 its graphics are not that good and i also saw Destroy All Humans uhhh 2 great games that didnt live up to their graphics amd besides that $600 bucks and it will have problems working like all the others..maybe but $600 Bucks is crazy

i bought a 360 when they first came out.. waiting in line for 12 hours and i personally dont like.. dont get me wrong its great, good graphics, awsome games and with halo 3 coming out.. but id rather put a down payment on a car or something. plus i dont think the ps3 is gonna be that great. if u must! buy one, buy the 360 because of halo 3, perfect dark zero, oblivion, so forth but the games are offley pricey and then the controllers and so forth so it adds up. but if you have the money and are willing to spend and will actually play the thing then yea its worth it

I say that if u are going to get a system for fun get the nintendo Wii it will be the cheapest system and by far the most fun but if you are only about graphics then i suggest getting a 360 because the ps3 will be 600 bucks

No wait for the ps3 the 360 lags and in my opinion microsoft could have done better. But I'm not saying the 360 sucks, but I wouldn't buy it.
