what is the picnic area like at N.Y.METS shea stadium.?

There are about 10 picnic tables under some shady trees by one of the gates...I think its "A". Bring a cloth to cover the table if you want, they're kinda "weathered" tables. We've used them before. We stopped at White Castle once and a few times at Wendy's on the way to the stadium and ate our sandwiches there.

Most people tailgate in the parking lot though. Parking is $13. Some people park under the Northern Blvd traffic ramps too for free.
