they should stay in NJ. i don't like the idea of changing their name.

They used to play in Nassau Coliseum and were known as New York Nets, so I think the name change is fine. Brooklyn Nets could work, but the marketing advisors would choose "New York" because it is most recognizable.

They started as the NY Nets, so they should go back to being the NY Nets. What's the problem?

The Nets should go away along with that entire dump of a state in which they play.
