Why not do it up right., have a special night for the girls. Dress up and pick a local-home 3/4 star restaurant that they could feel special at. Most pre teens haven't this experience.Introduce them to it

Wherever you go, consider going for lunch because it's cheaper. Depending on where you live some good chains would be Don Pablo's, Bob Evans, Shoney's, or one of the all you can eat buffet places that are all over now. IHOP is always a good bet too :)

Some where like a neighborhood restaurant (TGIFriday's, Apple bees, Chili's etc.) or for something kind of exciting (at least for an elven and fourteen year old) you could introduce them to an ethnic restaurant (Greek, Japanese, Chinese, Mexican, Indian etc.) I'd opt for something new to them.

if you wanna take them somewhere nice, not like a takeaway, you should take them to a nice cafe.. not too expensive and the closest thing to a restaurant without the cost.
