From my perspective, it seems like for the most part, there seems to be a pretty good cross-section of intelligence on here, although there's a lot to be desired in the English/spelling category. However it does appear to be largely a young range, probably around 15-25 average.

I think there is a good cross section of people from between the ages of 15-55. It's like high school all over again or a small Anywhereville with smart people, less bright, downright stubbornly refusing to learn folks, and nearly every economic status is represented here too.
We are "the population at large."

The people here are as diverse as society, because THEY ARE SOCIETY...
No, I do not think that the majority is between 15 and 25, because these are the people that have many other things to do besides sit at a computer...

If you did the four year census ... would you ask one person in every city how many Caucasians, Blacks, As ins, etc lived there? Not a real righteous sampling. I would suggest statistics 101.

Slightly above. I figure the average person would be watching MTV. But definitely not way above average. There's a lot of stupid questions on here and a lot of stupid answers, and I suppose the very smartest people would be reading thick books instead of answering questions.
