No he won't but is that a bad thing? Last time I checked he can can run, jump, catch, run routes, and block why would 3 weeks off change any of that? The guy trains harder then 98% of the WRs in the league in the off season to stay in the shape he is, I mean come on this is his 10th season and he's getting a little old wouldn't you think that if he didn't work hard all off season he wouldn't be considered the best in the game even after missing 9 games last year? People Love or Hate T.O. which is horrible they should just treat him like any other NFL WR. Ok, do you think McNabb would have come back in 4 weeks from a broken leg and put up the #'s Owens put up in the Super Bowl 2 years ago?
Owens plays man, and plays and plays and plays. If there's any growing up to do, it's the media, who just love hearing this guy talk, it's like watching your uncle's porn collection when he's not at home, the media can't get enough of T.O. and make him look like he talks too much and doesn't play enough.
I am a Cowboys fan, I want him in the best shape possible come Sept. 10, and if that means he sits the whole pre-season and camp out, so be it. What he does on the field, in games that count, is all that matters, and he's proven he can toast ANYBODY in the league, so what's everyone's problem with him?

The best thing that could happen is that he breaks his jaw and has his mouth wired shut. he could still play and his pie hole would be shut for more than 5 seconds
