OK, I feel like a broken record here. Buy a book called "Getting the Love You Want" by Harville Hendrix. There is lots of good information there. Also look into a CD set called Understanding Men/Celebrating Women. I think the company is called PAX.
It is all on the internet. Lots and lots of answers. Before I walked down the aisle again I did lots of research. Of all the 'stuff' I sifted through these were the two best sources for information.
When they say information is power, that's not an understatement! You will get the answers you are looking for!!

Well being around a person for such a long time can get to you..or them before you even know it. I say take some time away and then wen you do come back talk about what happend. Maybe you could fix things.

It doesn't unless the people that are living together allow the walls to be constructed. Somebody is screwing things up.

Because when you live with someone the only place you can have truly personal space is internally. You would die if you had no walls at all.

Because you're taking 2 different personalities, their habits, their stuff, their ways of doing things, adding in financial issues, sharing responsibilities and "stuff" and it OFTEN causes issues...

It's not easy to live with someone (esp someone that's not family)...it takes a lot of compromise, sharing, and understanding...

The only walls there hon are the ones holding and forming the dwelling you are in. Otherwise it is one of you that is distancing yourself from the other.
