1) check cables, both power and VGA

2) Monitors may age, and there is a time when it stops working..get a new one, in this case.
If you want to replace a CRT monitor, there are pretty cheap ones out there for maybe less than $50 for a 15 inch/ 17 inch.

3)It can also be a problem with your computer's graphic card, I suggest you try to plug in another monitor to your computer and see if it works. If this other monitor doesn't work, then you should get another graphic card.

Ok 1) u have a virus 2) you have not turned it on 3) your monitor has broken, that is what happened to mine also check the fuse and the conections between the base unit and the monitor. You might have to buy a new one.

You may have also tried to load a graphix program that wont fit your settings. Try hitting Ctrl, alt, del and see if it comes back to where you were before.. If not ,then do hard boot. ( shut your comp off and try to see if it comes back on. If not, then you may have to plug a different monitor in and try to boot it. Otherwise, try booting up in safe mode. ( f8) before the windows icon comes up on reboot. and reset to a previous date.

Is the Moniter Light Green, Yellow or none.

If it's green, Move the mouse.

If it's yellow, check the Moniter to cable connection.
