5^2 + 12^2 = x^2
25 + 144 = 169 = x^2
x = 13

ugh the other ones are too difficult for me, had a drink too much ;)

length AB:
Dx = 6 - 1 = 5
Dy = 17 - 5 = 12
Length^2 = (Dx)^2 + (Dy)^2 = 25 + 144 = 169
Length = 13

midpoint: take averages of x and y
([1 + 6]/2, [5 + 17]/2) = (3.5, 11)

5x^(-3) = 5/x^3

(...)^0 = 1
as long as ... is not equal to zero

midpoint no idea but i would like to know plz do tell me if you come across by mailing me
2)5x^-3
5/x^3
hence
5=x^3
3)420yx^3

1) (3.5, 11)

2) 5 / (x^3)

3) You can leave that as is.
