Fast food is a good place to start. A lot of tennagers don't want to work with fast food, I started at Jack in the Box and it provided me with a lot of different skills that I still use today at other jobs. Plus who cares when you need money!

Fast food is a really bad place to start! You get to help kill yourself with crummy food, and be around others who don't give a damn.

Try to avoid places where you might have to serve a long line of insane people, like at a checkout counter - too much stress.

I agree with the well dressed approach. Make a resume, plenty of copies & take them to the malls and strip malls, ask for the manager & offer them your resume. Which stores you pick depend mostly on your interests or styles.

Don't bother faxing, its a waste of time unless you have fax software on your computer where you can fax a whole bunch at once & not worry about wathing over it.

Anywhere depends on where you live and what's the minimun age you can work. I know alot of places the minimum age is 15 1/2 yrs old. But other places you have to be 16. Bars, casinos, some enteretaiment places you have to be 18.

Apply at starbucks. they pay well, good benefits, and provide money for tuition if you work for them for a year. I'm working my way through college with them. Nothing too big to complain about so far, other than the occational rude customer. But hey, they're gonna be anywhere you work.

If you are well-dressed and pleasant, you should apply at some store like Limited or Abercrombie. The pay well and give huge discounts to employees. Most other employees and also the customers would be your age.
