this boy in my uni told me he liked after 2 years of being good mates with each other, i said well see how it goes but said i didnt know if it was worth destroying our friendship, but i said well see how it goes, he said he really like me and if we didnt try it we would regret it, he left roses on my car, then about 1 month ofter he sat me down and said we should just be mates he said if he liked me 99% in that way before he likes me 1% in that way now, i was shocked how do you get over someone that quick after 2 yrs of liking them??? i know he has not found someone else, he does not go 5 days without texting me help!!?? i dont know what to believe because he said he dont like me in that way anymore but im soooo confused, i dont know how i see him, the saying is true when you can have it you dont want it and when you cant have it you want it

guys will be like that they never know what they what it seems!!! lol but just still be friends!!! it seems he needs your help he still must think of you as a really cloes friend that he can go to for help
he seems very nice too me but i am sure you know him way way way better than i do but like i said be a cloes friend to him and i am sure he still wants to be cloes friend with you

To me it sounds like he might be confused himself. I think he might still like you, but maybe his friends or something are trying to make him decide against it. Or maybe he is kind of interested in you and someone else at the same time so he is lost at what to do. Try asking him about his friends and if they are saying anything bad about you two being together. It does seem kind of awkward that after two years he just stopped. Good Luck!!!

He liked the IDEA of it, once he had it he realized it wasn't what he thought it would be. Dating friends is a bad idea and this is why. If nothing had happened in two years of being friends it was pretty clear that this relationship was not destined to be a romantic one.
