It's a tough life sometimes, I know...free healthcare, free dentistry, free medicine, no gun crime in schools, 'live and let live' attitudes, non-police state, hardly any christians, respected more than america...but trust me, you probably wouldn't have survived long, especially with such appalling comedic skills...

What the hell are you talking about? This is a stupid question.
Bats hang upside down because their feet are on the bottom of their bodies. Their hands are wings. It's too hard to hang by the little hooks on their thumbs, so they hang by their feet. Some bats sleep right-side-up. I guess they have stronger thumb-hooks.
