its not holding to stay in the sys tray,lower right hand corner of moniter....i go to settings...hit sound control,hit put icon in tray,appy lites up,then i hit apply....i have to do this about 7 times before it takes ......if i restart....same motions are needed...any ideas..

right click on task bar and select properties. Toward the bottom click on customize. Find your volume icon. To the right click on and select always show. Hope this helps.
