If you can pump, breast milk is best for your baby. After two months of breastfeeding, because of a prescription I could no longer breastfeed and my doctor recommended that we use Enfamil Lipil w/ iron it has the DHA and ARA that are found in breast milk. Talk to your pediatrician and find out which formula he/she recommends. After you start with the formula your baby will let you know if the brand you have chosen agrees with him or her.

I love Nestle's Good Start Supreme, it smells good and I have had no issues with baby gas or spitting up. I hear the Similac smells bad and stains your clothes. No such problem with Good Start. I believe what they say about the proteins being broken down already and this being close to breast milk, because my baby's poop very (I do mean VERY) often came out like yellow grainy breastmilk poop. I was pleasantly surprised. Good luck going back to work, I cried the whole day the first day back!! And remember, it gets better.

i started feeding my baby with enfamil with iron because thats what they fed him in the hospital after breastfeeding became unsuccessful. Then he got really fussy and i found out it was because he was mildly lactose, then i started feeding him the enfamil prosobee and that cleared up what i thought was colic at the sime. dont use similac for two reasons: it has lower amounts of dha and ara, thats why its cheaper and also because i heard on the news a while back that they had a recall on it because people were finding metal chips in the formula. go with the enfamil!!!

I used to use Enfamil Lipil with Iron, but it made my baby have excess gas, so I switched to Nestle Good Start Supreme with DHA & ARA (after consulting my doctor) a few months ago and she is much happier! It is easier for her to digest and not as much spit-up or gas now!

We used Isomil Soy Milk with iron. My daughter was premature and was only given breast milk for 5 months. She did excellent with the transition and the formula! No problems at all. GOOD LUCK!

There is nothing better than Breast milk, ask your Dr. what he recommends. have you thought about doing both, nursing your baby why you are together, evenings, early morning and the weekend. Your body and milk supply will adjust to the new demands.

I use Enfimal Lipil Gentlease. It has milk proteins that are a little easier to digest and will cut down on fussiness and gas
