You can use a wireless adaptor for the pc with the usb port.
How I've done mine is I got the adaptor on the laptop, and an ethernet cable connected to the router for the big desk top.
The adaptor cost about £20.

Most any Ethernet manufacturer makes a Wireless Router as well as a USB Wireless Adapter. I happen to be using D-Link's DI-524 and their DWL-G120 Wirelsss USB Adapters on 3 other computers.

Install another network 10/100 lan card in the other PC, they are really cheap £10, That way you can exchange data at normal network speeds, USB while ok is a lot slower especially if using the internet.
