How do you unlock the camaro race car in Gran turimo 3 a spec?

I saw it in arcade mode and on the gran turimo 3 web site

I unlocked it by winning races, never got into cheats!!!!

ok, first of all there are no cheats so dont try to find any, ok i got a Miata to begin with and kept winning the beginner race alot then i upgraded(dont spend a lot of money) then go to an endurance race with that car it automatically puts you with the class you raced against in the beginner mode, since you will already be faster then them win the race you get sweet cars like F1 series car(i got one) i think the camaro is included but you may have to keep doin the race over an over you cant pick the car it does a random selection.....................................NOTE ENDURANCE RACES ARE 100 LAPS SO BE PREPARED..............hope it helps

You have to win lots of regular races (random chance of getting the camaro) or do an endurance race for a much greater chance of getting it – but no certainty.
