Haha yes indeed I do. I don't know why, but I'm always a freak about getting enough sleep. So let's say it's like eleven o'clock and I'm about to go to sleep but then I have to wake up at 7. I just go ahead and count the number of hours of sleep I'll be getting (on my fingers, of course). It's a habit, I guess. And if I'm getting less than 7 or 8 hours, I make a mental sticky-note to get something caffeinated in the morning.

I´m a math teacher for high school students and I also teach Calculus at the university and YES, i do use my fingers to count every now and then.
But most of all, i simply can´t do vector calculations without waving my fingers...

Bad habit, yes. Mostly turned to the calulator now. But the fingers do still appear now and then. LOL

When I'm just waking up, yes! Otherwise, mental figuring comes pretty easy to me.

I sometimes use my fingers when multiplying, not necessarily for adding or subtracting.
