You should be able to buy it from a pharmacy, although some local pharmacies refuse to sell it because the drug addicts mix it with their crap! You should be able to find it in your local supermarket... try the baking section. Hope you find some!

If u cant find citric acid a great way to descale without using chemicals is to sprinkle some bi-carb soda and then pour some vinegar over it. When the vinegar hits the bi-carb soda it will bubble and penetrate the build up. Repeat if necessary and then rinse with water.

If in the UK, Boots make a descaler especially for steam sterilisers, you can find them in the baby section with the sterilising tablets etc. They are very good.

Ask at mothercare or write to avent as they do the sachets for descaling as i ran out and they will send you more
