War between India and Pakistan are not Hindu war. India has second largest population of Muslims in the world. Second only to Indonesia and more than Pakistan.

In Sri Lanka the real problem is between LITTE and others.

LITTE is ruin by Christians. Its Chief Prabhakaran and all the carder is not only Christian it gets support from Christian countries. Anton Balasingham, theoretician and main spokesman of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam, is a christian.

All Prime position holders are Christian.

Some Church even went to extent to call him "Christ Like" whatever that means.

Its not exactly a holy war either. For What I have read LITTE does not thinks twice before even killing Christians if they do refuse to support it.

Terrorism has become a buissness and politics mixed up. Terrorists use religion to get emotional support from a that particuler religion. Religious organisations think that they can use them for their own benefit and get wider following through it.

With both trying to use each other its ultimately just power game.

Check out Sri Lanka.
Years of civil war, and the Buddhist high clergy, very influencial in Sri Lankan politics, has been actively delaying a real peace process in an attempt to protect the island from being "taken over" by non-buddhists. They consider Sri Lanka the last bastion of real buddhism, worth protecting at all cost.
Pretty close to the definition of a holy war in my books...

Yes I have heard of Buddhist and Hindu holy wars, although they aren't necessarily called that. In India and Pakistan there are wars that just haven't finished since the British left the area and since the time of Mahatma Gandhi.

However with regards to your second question, I have not seen any negative films concerning Buddhism or Buddhists or Hinduism or Hindus. Hope this helps.

yes the Hindus and Buddhists had holy wars in Sri Lanka. The Buddhists there wanted to get rid of the Hindus because they thought their religion was superior.

there is not any such ingredient as 'a holy conflict' that comprises killing human beings of a distinctive concept. this could be a contradiction in words, as Buddhism properly is conscious. The pacifism of Buddhism is extremely commendable nevertheless it somewhat is introduced approximately many Buddhists being persecuted. in spite of the shown fact that, there's a paradox with the unfold of Buddhism in Mongolia. The Mongols have been converted to Buddhism by using the Tibetans in the time of the thirteenth century. Then, whilst the Mongols invaded China and standard the Yuan dynasty in 1260, they took Vajrayana with them. they did no longer lay aside their swords for that chinese language invasion! The Mongols are regularly happening in historical past as between the main vicious, blood-thirsty marauding armies that ever plagued the earth. however the Mongol impact interior the sixteenth century gave upward thrust to the workplace of Dalai Lama, which resulted interior the Geluk pa college becoming to be the dominant ability in Tibet. Profound adjustments interior the political order so many times went hand in hand with the unfold of Buddhism. This became no longer continuously a peacful technique! interior the 1600s the Mongols actively interfered in Tibetan politics, turning of their conquests to the Geluk pa college. So, you notice what I recommend by using a paradox (the very stuff of koans!)?

The Hindus in India have been fighting with Pakistan for quite some time now. Buddhists though are non-violent and I cant think of any wars with the exception of maybe Taiwan fighting for freedom from Communist China.

No, but I have seen the Buddhist monks fighting each other in the streets of Bangkok, beating each other bloody with canes and shovels. That was quite a sight.
