I like millions of others was circumcised as an infant. It pisses me off every time I see a penis that is uncircumsiced. Are there surgeries that exist that can actually replace foreskin??

DO be pissed!!! But be healthy about it. You can restore, please check out the links on foreskin restoration. You will never gain back the 20,000 severed nerve endings, but you can attain coverage and gliding action. People like you can help end RIC in our country. At least as an adult you would have had a choice, right? I had many problems with my first son's circ. He was in agony. I did not cut my second. Nobody should have made the choice of whether you may keep your normal body parts. And no!!! NOT all women prefer cut men. I MUCH prefer uncut. And so do most of the women I know. We are just your typical American women, mind you! My husband is cut, and I have dealt with recurrent yeast infections each and every month. The reason given by my doc was friction due to my hub's circ'd penis. She said cut men also harbor the yeast and give it back because they only occasionally notice an issue w/it. Nice. The cervical cancer myth is that- a MYTH. No educated doc will support that any longer. Smegma exists, and is normal, too. If men hated smegma so much they would all be gay, because women produce the same thing in more copious amounts. UTI's? Check the stats on baby girls. You would be floored, yet no one touches them in America. Anyway, please direct your well- deserved anger into helping your local NoCirc chapter (try Yahoo Groups) stop people from doing this to other helpless infants. And also...the BEST of luck to you!!!

I'm against circumcision for non-medical and non-religious reasons. Too much of the time it's just plain cosmetic surgery that gets a lame health label to justify it. 80% of the world's male population are uncircumcised and one doesn't hear about them having all the myriad of health problems being uncut is "supposed" to involve. Most (like 95%) uncut men never experience any problems.

It bothers me how badly the foreskin has been maligned and now with the supposed HIV benefit circumcision brings (but see link below). You know what? Condom >>>> circumcision anyway in terms of STDs. It's a normal and healthy part of the body that every male's born with. If it needs to be cut off it needs to be cut off, but if it's not broken don't fix it.

Try searching for "foreskin restoration." There's nothing that'll replace the foreskin, but it can stretch/graft skin so that it'll be somewhat similar. It'll either take a long time or a lot of money, and isn't worth it for all people. Remember your rage and don't circumcise your son if you have a son. If he needs it later then he needs it, but leave it alone otherwise.

I am against male circumcision and we be until they routinely circumcise girls at birth. If that was a common practice all the women would be in a big uproar about it BUT its ok to mutilate a little boy because he will LOOK better. HOGWASH leave the foreskin on and let the male half of the world enjoy their penis the way GOD intended it to be

I am against circumcision. I too used to be, because, like you, I was done at birth. It is a barbaric and gross practice. But you can change it.
Do a google search for Foreskin Restoration.
Go to : Norm.com and foreskin.com
Hang in there, good luck and spread the word.
There is absolutely NO medical reason for it. And women who think its a great idea should have the outer vaginal lips ( labia) removed for purely "esthetic" reasons, and see how much they like it.

No, I don't think that the foreskin can be replaced, but I don't believe in circumcision at all. I think that the foreskin is there to protect a sensitive area and serves a function that is important....I also couldn't do that to a new baby.

Most women prefer a circumcised man trust me! It is a topic that is discussed in groups all the time. On top of that if you are not circumcised it increases the chance you will pass on disease or infection to a partner. The extra skin can easily hold bacteria and I had a girlfriend that used to get infections from her husband all the time and swore that he was very clean and she even made him bathe just before they would have intercourse at that still didn't help. Any ways why are you checking out other mens penises?

Just ask the men who have been circumcised for medical reasons after they reached adulthood, and they'll tell you, they would have preferred for it to have occured at infancy. I'm a woman, I don't have any children, but if I had a son, he would be circumcised as an infant.

I wish. To be mutilated as a baby is incompehensible. They don't cut off women's labia's in developped countries for "cleanliness" and in those countries that do, it's a crime. It's not like an appendix, it is an important part of male pleasure. I'm so sorry you were violated.
