I am a beginer poet. And some of my poems r good and some r TERRIBLE! I need some help on my writing. Plz someone help me out!

I could help you,I am a poet. First thing is to write what you feel, and feel what you write. Dont worry if it sounds stupid, save it all. It may make more sense later. Dont worry you will be a good poet yet.

Continue writing and writing!! And, write about those things in which you have a passionate interest. I believe it was Thomas Edison who said he had far more failure than success. I once worked with an old civil engineer who said "If we are not making mistakes, we are not doing anything. So, lets go out and make some mistakes". Read other peoples writing, and they do not have to be poets or alive. For me, reading Henry David Thoreau is always like letting in a breath of fresh air. Yes, I write poetry, and still struggle with the painting after sixty three years. Fight the good fight. Craig Fletcher Whitham.

What do you need help with-rhyming, grammar, puncuation, sources? I will help if I can. You have to supply the imagination though. I have published poetry in The Lyric, Cappers, Nomads Choir and won prizes at Shadow Poetry, various contests sponsored by the Massachusetts State Poetry Assn and other awards. A good source for publication is the info in the Poet's Market, published each year. If you want criticism I can try to help.

First, practice writing English, not textspeak. If you want to be a poet you have to have a respect and love for the language. Get a grasp of the basics, and then you can mold them to suit your purposes. You may have the heart for poetry, but you don't have the tools to create it.
