YES it drives me insane and I start to think of many things and possibilities and I just start to stress out in figuring out what they meant by that comment. Those people should go to hell and have little devils torture them for eternity saying 'if you only knew' over and over again.

Yes I hate that. When people say that I usually get the impression that they think I just don't know much and they are more knowledgeable then I am and it gets on my nerves.

I express to people what I want them to know.
Maybe they don't tell you everything cause not just you would not like to hear it but mayibe it's too bad or tough for you to hear to imagine.

i say that all the time and ppl say it to me all the time i have no problam with it i than email them and ask them about it and get an answer normaly

no, cause usually they're refering to if only you experienced it first hand or if only you were there... at least that's my own opinion.
