How much of it has to do with hormones? Because I take EXTREMELY good care of my skin and I still get acne. Is this because of hormones? I take so much better care of my face and skin then most people yet they have completely clear skin.

Also I was wondering when you see a person with acne do you automatically think that they don't have good personal hygiene? Be honest please, is that your first impression? Because I have very good personal hygiene and I don't want people thinking about me like that just because of this stupid acne. Thanks.

It isn't really abt hygeine or washing ur face. Hormones play a big part. Try the Nature Cure b/c it comes with these pills to cure fm the inside and cream. Honestly a person w/ acne does make me think "oh that person is greasy" I kno thats not it but it just a first thought.

It does have some to do with hormones. When a women is pregnant her hormones go wild. She can get acne even if she never had it before. I just read an article in a woman's magazine though that milk contains something that produces acne too. Do you drink a lot of milk or consume a lot of milk products? If so, maybe cut down on it. Don't cut it out altogether because it does have some great values too. As far as personal hygiene goes, I don't think that people with acne don't take care of there skin. When I was young I didn't take as great of care of my skin as I should have. I didn't have acne. The place I used to get acne was my forehead and that was only one or two every couple of months. Don't worry so much. That sets off acne too. You are going to be ok.

If you’re looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne… prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symposium and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.
For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it’s advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.

Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.
Oh, by the way the site that helped me is:

From personal experience I know that how much you wash your face has nothing to do with acne. After all, acne starts way beneath the skin. Stress is a huge factor that you may not realize. Take a look at your life and try to reduce high stress triggers. Also Proactive DOES work and is well worth the money. Good luck to you!

I struggled with acne for years and I finally found the solution that works for me. We have been fooled, tricked, deceived, and just plain lied to. It's time that someone put a stop to it, and everyone learn the truth!

Those of us who suffer from acne have usually been given 2 choices and neither of them work:

1. Over the counter remedies such as cleansers, creams, ointments, etc. These things have been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.

2. Go see a doctor and or dermatologist. They will generally prescribe prescription drugs which include topicals and or antibiotics. This, too, has been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.

I found a step-by-step program that cured my acne and it has never come back. It is amazing and doesn’t use any drugs or doctors. The truth is that acne can be cured…if we know the secret the doctors and drug companies don’t want us to know.

There is a great website: http://cure-my-acne.info/3daycure/
that has all the details. I really suggest you check it out and see if it works as well for you as it did for me.

It has all to do with hormones. Did you ever have to take great care of your skin when you were 7? See, I don't judge people on their acne, and you shouldnt lower your self confidence because of it. Do you wear makeup? When I first see somebody with terrible acne, i dont think that they dont have good hygeine, i just think that they have a few extra zits. see, i get a lot of acne too. if you wanna talk some more, message me - singin_gurl1200

Yes, hormones plays a big part. But genetics and eating right do have a part in it as well. Does your family have acne? Acne is probably never gonna go away completely. But this page might help you tone it down a little:
