i'm seven weeks pregnant, and my lower back is killing me! this is my second child (first child is 12) so I had to read a little bit, but A LOT of stuff is happening to your body right now, and my dr. said it was normal. SIT DOWN and stretch (DO NOT STAND UP AND PUT YOUR HEAD BELOW YOUR HEART), do some yoga stretches for the back, one of my favorites is to lie on my back on the bed, and put my feet together and pull towards my chest (hope that explanation makes sense!) it relieves the pressure and gives a good stretch - something that needs to be done throughout the pregnancy. Good Luck!

Everybody's bodies are different but at 4-6 weeks I doubt your back ache is from the baby.

yes, that's normal. at that time, mine hurt so bad i could hardly sleep at all or get comfortable, and had trouble getting out of bed! stretching periodically throughout the day helped a little, but it was pretty bad for quite a while!

you could have back pain from the pregnancy but since its usually from carrying the baby after it gets heavier and you get bigger I dont think its gonna hurt that soon , I would go see a doctor
It could be something else

Yes because you're carrying about 10-20 extra pounds with you

It can, lots of muscles are stretching in pregnancy. They start stretching the day you get pregnant. If it is really painful call your doctor.

It might not have anything at all to do with being pregnant.
