i am using limewire to download songs off her album SKIN why am i able to find some of the songs and some of them i can not.

It all depends upon which songs people upload onto the network. Try varying your search a little bit. Do a search just for Melissa Etheridge. Don't put in the album name, because it will limit the amount of results that you receive. Use as little information as possible and sort through the results. If people labeled right and spelled right, things would be a lot easier! I know the feeling.
