Let's analyze this, Mike Bell may have the top spot now but he still have to deal with another bell, namely Tatum Bell, who had 921 yards rushing with 8 TDs to boot with 104 yards receiving so I would be skeptical about that choice and on the other had DeShaun Foster who's with Carolina has a very good offensive line and who is a very powerful back. Foster garnered 879 yards and 2 touchdowns last year rushing and 372 yards w/1 touchdown receiving. So, there is not too much difference in the two except for a few more touchdowns so you make your choice in the matter. My odds on favorite would be Mike Bell at this point.

Mike Shanahan has already proven that Denver is a running back factory (Davis, Gary, Anderson, Portis, Droughns, etc.). This year, Mike Bell is the feature back. However, Tatum Bell will steal carries from him, and Ron Dayne may factor in at the goal line or in short yardage situations, and Cedric Cobbs is still looming.
Meanwhile, DeShaun Foster starts for the Panthers. Unfortunately for you, he cannot seem to stay healthy, and he's got a young rookie first round back nipping at his heels.
Judging by history, I'd still say that Mike Bell is the better back here, but you should really see if you can't do better, because I'm not sold on him.

It looks like Mike Bell is the real deal and barring any mishaps, the Bell should toll on Week 1 against a soft St. Louis defense. DeShaun Foster should get some carries but he is on a short leash in the name of DeAngelo Williams, so again, give it to Bell.

Foster is an injury free season away from an MVP--hes that talented and on a great running team. Yes you have to worry about his long-term durability, but until he gets hurt, he will be the man. Mike Bell is the man in Denver for now, but even as the starter he wont get all the carries, Tatum Bell will still get his, and who knows if Dayne or Nash will swipe any carries, you just never know with Shanahan.
Stick with Foster until he proves you wrong, sit Mike Bell until he proves you wrong.

EASILY deshaun foster. Yahoo has him so underranked its not even funny. ESPN has him ranked the 20th best player in all of fantasy football. None of those other players you listed come even close. Mike Bell will end up splitting carries wiht the likes of Tatum Bell and Ron Dayne. And with their coach, there is no telling when Mike Bell will be depromoted from the starting job.

To begin the season, go with the starters, Bell and Foster. But throughout the season, keep checking on Anderson and White, especially White. If they end up getting more carries than Foster and/or Bell, sub them in.

I think you should use Mike Anderson, because Brian Billick wants togo back into his old system where Steve McNair will manage the game and he will implement a strong running game. Mike Bell may seem like a solid choice but he doesn't have the experience that the other running backs have. Quentin Griffith won the Denver Broncos running back race a couple of years ago only to be replaced by 1000 yard rusher Rueben Droughns.

that's an easy one - Deshaun Foster; at least until he gets injured.
Anderson will share carries at best; and I don't trust Shanahan as far as I could throw him. The man lies with every waking breath. Sure Mike Bell is #1, until he fumbles a ball or drops an easy pass - then he's #3 all of a sudden.
Never trust that shifty-glass-eyed, fantasy-hating bastard Mike Shanahan.

Well you should wait for as long as possible before deciding. You'll probably find Foster will be the better back overall however he wont stay healthy, if he does it will surprise anyone who knows football. Lendale white is likely to be the goal line back in TN so he is going to be good for your bye weeks.
Anderson has slipped down the rankings a bit because Musa Smith has looked so good this yr.
Bell, wow what value he represents, if he keeps the starting job then for sure he is the guy you want to start most weeks.
Are you thinking of trading one of them? I advise against it at this point if you were.

If Bell keeps the starting job going into the season, start him. He is fresh, Foster is coming off an injury. Leather face has a knack for making any player a productive running back for the broncos.
