Ok, i'm married now, but this question comes from my single friends and from when I was single too? Why do straight women get upset when you hit on them at a gay club? I realize that they go there to keep from getting hit on by men, but they are in a gay club - do they really think "gay" is just fun boys who help pick out clothes? I can't tell that you are straight, gay-dar is really hard to tune when the room is full of us!

Also, most of my friends won't approach a girl until getting the "once over by the girl". And the girl still gets mad!

well the straight women that go to the gay bar in my city only go for the drag show when it is a bachlorette party or something. Most of the Lesbians can tell. They should feel flattered not upset. and besides they are going into a gay bar which is completely fine but dont think that just because you are there you wont get hit on. people just need to loosen up a lot. and just go with the flow.

Well, that is hilarious... My girlfriend and I take her two straight sisters to the bar.. They think in there mind they are safe... The moment we walked away two women came up and asked them to dance.. It was country and neither one of them can dance at all.. They said sorry we don't dance... The gay girls said well your just sittin there.. They got scared and ran out to find us... They didn't get pissed because if they could country dance they would have... The big butch women that were lesbians were total attitude. Me and my girl were crackn up...
And growing up my friends teased me saying I was the only lesbian who could meet the one straight woman in a gay bar... It was true... I thought they were gay.. I had two long term relationship with those "straight" women... Very interesting...

Lol, I know what you mean, but then again I know plenty of straight women and men who go to a gay bar and get upset because NO ONE hits on them! It's hilarious to watch. They're like "Aren't I hot enough? They just don't know what they're missing." And I'm thinking 'Aren't you straight? Why do you care?'

They are playing hard to get and they get mad because the person hitting on them is not their type.

Haha.....*sigh*....they need to loosen up...BIGTIME...nothing you can do about it though. But, yeah, they just need to loosen up. I have been hit on by men and women in gay bars and straight, and take it all with stride.
