I sure wish I did, or just had someone to get to know..I am 23 years old majoring in Business.. I just would like to have female friends, someone who is down to earth, caring and considerate.. Is there anyone out there who feels the same way as I do?

Oh yes...it is a hard time to be this age..I am 22 yrs old and I feel like I've outgrown some of my friends...and then again some of my other friends have "outgrown" me...it's very hard to find true friends..especially if you have been burned by friends before (as I have), I'm hoping eventually it will happen--and I'm sure it will..until then I try not to worry and just have fun and enjoy my life.

I feel the same way, and have since college graduation. Meeting female friends online is all weird because people always assume I'm a lesbian trolling for dates, when in fact I'm engaged to a man and I am just looking for some female friends like I had in college. Moving and having different jobs and being financially in different places (both richer and poorer) than my friends really created some barriers and I know it's going to happen again now that I'm going to be married. There's a serious lack of social networking capability for ladies our age. It is all centered around being a new mom or a bride or career networking. What about just having fun socially? Please feel free to write me if you'd like to talk!
I agree also with the last poster--why is it that so many friendships seem to be fake at this age?? The competition is insane. I've experienced a lot of 'my wedding will be better than yours' crap from other brides... what the heck?

I'm 23, and I know eaxactly what you mean. Usually if you do get a female friend, she pretends to be true, and then just sleeps with your man, stabs you in the back, or tries to compete with you like it's a contest. It's frustrating. I've been running into the same problem.
