if u r using XP:
right click "My computer" icon then choose manage, a window like windows explorer will open.
select "Event viewer" from the left pane.
now on the right pan double click system. a list of events will show.
double click the first one. a window will open showing details about the event you've chosen.
now use the down arrow button at this window to view sequenced events till you reach the one that says "The Event log service was started."
that's how i would search to find out when my pc last started.
good luck.
