This site is like a huge garage sale except everything is given for free. It isn't a commercial site, just folks wanting to give their stuff to someone who can use it. Look it over and see if anyone in your area has a free bike for you. I gave a working washing machine destined for the dump to a single mom and she couldn't believe it was free. Check it out.

hmmm. good thinking. post an ad --around your neighbourhood-- post the ad -- on electrical poles (wooden posts) -- and small stores -- someone might come out and help you --since winter is approaching...and people sometimes don't have the place to put away a bike...good luck.
