All we hear about here is how much everyone hates us, so would you please say what country youre from and if u do and why?

I'm from iran and first let me say you sth. If you hear that we hate you ; we actually hate your government ; not your people. Then w hate your governments because they are telling lies. They tell we are in Iraq for peace and fighting with terrorism but they kill civilians in Irag. American soldiers raped a girl and killed her and her family then burned thier body. Or recently they riped stomach of a woman that was in pregnancy and i haven't heard of punishing those soldiers yet. Your government are telling muslims and people who are in mideast are terrorists. but that's not true! They tell that people around the world should be in freedom but they don't respect our religion and tell things against it.Their action cause that now most of your people hate us and they think if we catch them alone we will chop up their head under oyr feet! this is the thing which is bothering me: ENEMYSHIP BETWEEN TWO NATIONALITY BECAUSE OF THEIR GOVERNMENTS! Your governments don't let our people to have nuclear energy in a peacefull way. In't it our right? So why U.S don't let us? Why they should tell their people a group that is defending it's country and people is a terrorist group?( Imean hizzbollah) Why they are enemy with us ? why and thousands of "why" which is in my and my alikes mind whch make us to hate U.S government. It is a long time that i was looking for such as a question to tell things which is bothering me about you!

I strongly believe that all kinds of generalisations are extremely unfair. I don't typecast Americans, even though I strongly disagree with your imperialist government.
I know u don't get much information about what is going on outside your country, but believe me Bush is really causing too much harm to many people in this world.
I know most of u have bought the whole story of Americas being the one who helps developing countries to solve their economic or political issues. However, the truth is that the American Foreign policy is one of the major causes of the worldwide unrest in today`s society.
Millions of people round the globe are dying due to America´s thirst for power and oil.
I don't blame every single American for this, but I think is high time u fellows did something to stop all the contempt u provoke on the rest of the world.
Please make your president to stop poking his big nose into other countries affairs, because that only brings hate and violence.

Hi there, I am from England, I think that what your media, and the media in my own country, portrays is very distorted. However it is the role of the media in every country, to publish the propaganda of that country's political administration. It is this dark side of American politics, that so many people from all country's, are concerned about and appear to be attacking the USA, verbally .
The reality is that, most people admire America, and it's culture and will continue to do so, despite the policy's of the present administration. We also understand that America is full of ordinary honest hard working people who just want to do the best for their families and society, and that they themselves are not to blame for the mistakes of their government.
America can win back it's respect, if the people of the USA, get out there and vote out the present Govt. Administration and move away from having a war based economy.

I AM CANADIAN - and I do not hate the USA. I hate the current administration and America's GLOBAL MANIFEST DESTINY. The average American has been duped by a power/money hungry VILLAIN. America has always had the ability to be the good Samaritan (Jewish term) of the entire world. Instead it has chosen to flex it's muscle everywhere through political and economic extortion against any country that disagrees with their VALUES. What kills me most is that the American Elite has chosen to sacrifice American flesh, American jobs and the true identity of the AMERICAN WAY OF LIFE.

In a land where an American from Corning, N.Y. saved my life and where I also made an excellent living delivery steel to processing plants I fear I may never see again, AND THIS, is what angers me most!
