Danica isn't mean, but she can be fiesty, and that's a good thing. She's in a male dominated sport, so you know she will have to put up with a lot of junk. the fact is she doesn't take bull off anyone and some guys don't like that. I think it's great. Danica will have to put up with a lot of jealousy, but she'll be fine, i think she is a breath of fresh air.

10 for the fact that week after week she has to contend not only with racing against other drivers at 200+, but she also has to contend with all the distractions of hearing about how she's a female and hasn't proven herself because she hasn't won a race yet. She is under double the pressure the other drivers are because her every move is scrutinized in the spotlight.

Do I think she's the best driver out there? No, but then again she consistenly shows that she's not the worst, either. Give her better equipment (let's hope AGR becomes a little more dominant next year) and some time and I think she'll be fine.

You seem to have a bit of an obsession with Danica Patrick. Having said that, she gets an 8.5 from me. I've followed her career since she went to England as a teenager to hone her skills racing Formula Fords.
In 2000, in arguably one of the toughest events in open-wheel racing to win, the Formula Ford Festival at Brands Hatch, she finished a very creditable second. The winner that day was her team-mate, Anthony Davidson, the current Honda (F1) test driver.

However, my answer to your question (10 being high) is 8! She is a good racer, but not the greatest, she is young and still has a lot to learn! She is obviously attractive, so that's great for promotion! I think she is a spoiled brat, but then again so am I, I just wouldn't throw a hissy fit for the world to see! I'd love to see what she could do in Nascar, we need a woman to make women in the sport look good, since Erin Crocker is just making it look worse!

i like her, think she's good for females in racing. it would be cool if she crossed over a few times into nascar and whooped a$$ on that lil home wrecking hoochie, erin crocker!! she may be the breathe of life that saves all the efforts ladies have made in racing after erin turned out to be such a $lut. hope she sticks to her guns and her morals, a good role model for little girls, tough and a lady!!

I root for her and think she's hot, but honestly, she does come across as a spoiled little brat in a lot of her interviews.
