does anyone know how to keep window sizes the same each time you open a program (maximize, minimize) please help!

open my computer, at the top go to tools then folder options. Now click on the view tab then scroll down the list towards the bottom and check the box that says remember each folders view settings

It depends on the program. Some programs will save the size each time they close and some will start the same way each time. If the program does not remember its size from the last time then it probably never will.

For example, Internet Explorer remembers its size from last time.

With windows xp, if you click on the minimize icon, then size it the way you want it, close it, it should reopen the same as the last time.

Open the program, then maximize or adjust it how you want, then close it and open it back up.

Ya know, after 23 years, I still have trouble with that..
Guess I've given up worrying about it..

I have seen God. But I have not been able to figure out how to do that. I also have never been able to program a VCR.
