I like Revlon colorstay, and have it in a few colors. I'm like you and as my skin changes from summer to winter to summer, I mix the shades. It's really quite easy and works well. I bet you could do that with Covergirl too, if you like their product.

Cliniques stay true makeup foundation is great. I found that if i use the toner first then lotion and the makeup then apply a thin coat of the loose powder it stays all day. and i don't ever break out now. before i used it i did have the occational blemish!

You're going to have to spring for something a little more expensive than drug store foundation. It's fine to use cheap products like liners and glosses, but when it comes to what you put on your face use something with higher quality ingredients. My favorite foundations are Paula Dorf, Prescriptives or Sephora's own brand.

Maybelline PureStay. I use it and I have blemish problems - it covers well and just is amazing! It also doesn't look unnatural.

if you have a tan and don't want heavy makeup, use CG smoothers (tinted lotion, it works good). (covergirl)
