Does anyone know of great websites for beginners? Any suggestions on what my fist guitar should be?

I appreciate your help.

hahaha. I appreciate the humor "take lessons someplace" well, I work too much to actually go somewhere for lessons. (no time) I was hoping to practice when I get home. So I can relax. And enjoy a hobby on my own time.

Get some guitar tabs from the Internet or books and try to play songs you like...

I taught myself how to play this same way -- when you know the song you're trying to play, you can work on your strumming, which is the hardest part. Once you have that down, you can work on getting faster by picking more songs with greater complexity...

I hope this helps!

placed your index finger on the 1st challenge of the 2nd string. Pluck the string and be certain it makes a clean sound. Pluck the string above and under it to be certain your finger isn't touching them and muting the string. do no longer circulate on until you get that finger down and the 1st 3 strings sound needless to say. After that, placed your center finger on the 2nd challenge of the 4th string. Play the 1st 4 strings and be certain they sound clean. alter your arms if any strings are being muted. do basically it until you get a clean sound from all 4 strings. practice, practice, practice. in spite of if it takes you hours to get all 4 strings clean it somewhat is advantageous. day after in the present day it would in elementary terms take you an hour, and the day after that fifty minutes, until ultimately you do it immediately. once you get the 1st 4 strings clean, upload your pinky on the third challenge of the 5th string and play until it somewhat is clean (there's a reason you do no longer use your ring finger here). once you have the 1st 5 strings clearn, then upload your ring finger on the third challenge of the 6th (thickest) string. you're actually enjoying a constructive finished C chord throughout the time of all 6 strings. you could easily play a C chord with your ring finger on the third challenge of the 5th (A) string and play the 6th (E) string open, yet I like it the 1st way with the G interior the bass. the ingredient is human beings assume to easily %. up a guitar, look at somewhat photograph of the place to place their arms and basically start up enjoying it. that doesn't take place. It takes various practice and time to get you arms used to shifting self sustaining of the different, build the callouses necessary to play properly, and understand the chords properly sufficient to easily bounce between them. carry on with it and you will do advantageous. C, G, and D easily between the better chords to boot. Wait til you get to F and B and finally the countless dwindled chords.
