No, you don't need a shrink. You need a very large year-to-year planning book and lots of pencils.

Yes. You don't need to worry about college until Jr. Year in HS, and as for getting married... it will happen when it happens. If you worry about it too much you will end up getting married to the wrong person when the time comes.
I had a girlfriend who had been planning her wedding and having kids and everything since she was young and she was a nutcase. She got married at 23, divorced at 24, and was going psycho because she needed to have a baby by the time she was 28 or her plan wouldn't work. You can't plan life... just go with the flow.

Planning for the future is a good thing but don't get too worried about it. Marriage will happen when you find true love. Could be at 18, could be at 30. That you cannot plan for. It is good to think about college but you might get to college and change your major. I only know 3 people, including myself, who kept their original major. Just make sure to have alternative plans along the way and don't worry too much. Life happens whether you want it to or not. You can only be prepared to do your best with each situation.

You need to not worry so much about it. It is important that you get good grades and go to college but that's only to provide for your future. Getting married is something that will happen on it's own. Forcing the issue will only make you worry more and will not get you what you want. Just enjoy being 13. hang out with your friends, eat pizza, listen to music to loud. My only other advice is to wait until you are out of college to marry.

girl, slooowww down. You're way to young to be even worrying about t his stuff yet. Just think, you got 5 years until you'll be ready for college. That's a long azz time, aint it?
Look, it's good to start preparing for college. Start making sure your grades are good, you're applying yourself to your studies, and start researching various schools.
Now, I hear all girls dream about their wedding day since they were very young. Think of it, think about what you want it to be, and keep that memory. Just remember, you dont know when it will happen or how it will happen...but there will be a guy who has plans of his own too.
So don't make anything concrete.

Don't waste your life away worrying about these things. You are too young...Just enjoy being 13! Life has a way of working things out, even without planning. Besides, your plans don't always work out the way you want them to.

13 is a little young to be "planning it all out." You can set some long-term goals, but don't stress over it unduly, too much can happen in the meantime and you will have to constantly change your plans. Hang loose and keep an open mind.

You are only 13. Lighten up. You don't need to worry about those things right now. There's plenty of time for that later. Enjoy being 13. It won't last long.

It doesn't hurt to plan for the future, but there are some things you just can't plan for. Don't get your expectations of following that plan up too high, because life will never turn out the way you expect it to. Just understand that "plans" are really more like "guidelines".
Just get good grades and be a good person. The rest will follow.
