I have really clear skin, but I still like to wear some makeup over my face as a base. What foundation/powder is light and pure (organic/minerals) but still inexpensive?

Mineral powder. It's the best thing I've ever used. Check it out on the Internet. Iredale and Glo are the ones I've used. They look completely natural and are so easy to use.

Aloette's Ultra Finish. A mineral foundation with a cponcealer , SPF15 & powder finish all built in. Coverage is great, but you never feel like you are wearing makeup. And it lasts all day.
$24.95 in a compact. Last at least 6 months.

I love clinique! I also use bare minerals. bare minerals is really great . the bad thing about bare minerals is if you don't put it on right it can look caked on. I like clinique cause i use the moisturizer and then the foundation stay true makeup and then the clinique loose powder. it is light and not thick!

Bare Minerals by Bare Escentuals. Not cheap, but the best. And worth every penny.

for make optional skin, like yours, you should try philosophy products. they have skin care and make up, clear makeup, that would be perfect for you. check it out!

i dont like the bare escentuals, that stuff looks heavy, and its not very fine and it seems to just sit on my face.

another place to get opinions on make up from thousands who have tried and given their opinions is:

you can do a product review for almost any cosmetic or brand on the planet. you can leave yours too! its a fun site.

if you're looking for something cheaper, try the almay smart shade makeup in light. that's what i use, its liquid and it comes out white but then it changes to the color of your skin. i know it sounds like it doesn't work but it does. i dont know if its organic, but its hypoallergenic, if that makes a difference.
