Ask her family, or edge it into conversation. Like tell her you're thinking of getting a manly ring and wonder what your ring size is and then ask her "do you know what yours is?"

One way is to look at the ring she wears all the time or the most and go with at least that big or bigger. That is the answer for the size of the rock. As for the size of the finger..look around a little..I'm sure she has a ring hanging around that you can bring with you for the size and then just return it the next time you are there. Where there's a will there's a way. Or you can let one of her girlfriends in on it an they can help you with the plan of getting one of her rings..like they want to borrow it to go with an outfit they are wearing and give it to you. Let your mind wonder..there's always a way to never ending love. Good luck!! Oh and Congratulations!!

I think you are meaning her actual ring size, not the rock size, right? I take it that you don't live together? I would say try to get a ring of hers without her knowing that you know will fit her ring finger to take to the jeweler to figure out her finger size. Otherwise, buy the ring, pop the question, and I know she will not mind having to get it sized to fit, she will just be extatic that you proposed and she is officially engaged!

Get what you can, and feel comfortable getting. The most common size for an enguagement ring is 1/3 karrat. I got my wifes for $1,200 from a gemologist which I also suggest. Find someone you like, and buy all of your jewlery from them. You will see benefits from being a long term customer.

Ask someone that's close to her and ask them to get you a ring of hers or you could take it when she's not looking. I'm sure she has a few around. You can also have a friend of yours ask her to go help him pick out a ring for his girlfriend then you can have you friend find out. Either way i would go by taking one of hers.
