My husband is currently in Iraq, but coming home next month for his 2 week leave. Are any of you doing anything special for your spouses' return, and what are some suggestions from those of you who have already spent the 2 weeks? Any soldiers reading this that have suggestions on what we should do for you guys when you come back! I am anxious and nervous for his return! Also any tips for interacting or involving our almost 2 year old son?

Plan some nice days out for the 3 of you. Perhaps some trips to a zoo or a picnic - places where it will be easy to entertain your son. Start with a few trips with the wider family - it will be a very diifferent environment for him and it will be easier to adjust if he sees lots of familiar faces.

But you know as well as I do what your husband wants more than anything. If the grandparents are available to take your son overnight plan a couple of nights alone. Don't tell him in advance. Greet him at the door wearing heels and something skimpy froim Vicorias Secret.
