Have you seen:
Joseph Addison Alexander, Commentary on Isaiah in Kregel Classics, Grand Rapids, 1992;
John N. Owalt's, in New International Commentary on the Old Testament, Eerdmans, 1998;
Brevard S. Childs, The Struggle to Understand Isaiah as Christian Scripture, Eerdmans, 2004;
and others by C. R. Seitz, C. C. Torrey, Von Rad (OT Theology, vol. 2, never pass up a chance to read Von Rad), Westerman, H. Wildberger, H. G. M. Williamson.

Be sure to read Childs, even though some would think they wouldn't want to, it is still a really good examination--as is Walter C. Kaiser's Messiah in the Old Testament. They may have Christian baggage, but part of the thing was they are looking at what early Christians looked at when they read Christ in the Old Testament, particularly Isaiah and Jerome and Eusibius certainly spent a lot of time in Isaiah.

Isaiah was a prophet who actually covers every book in the Bible--there are 66 chapters of Isaiah and there are 66 books in the Bible.

Isaiah the Philosopher or Isaiah the Prophet? A clearer question would be better.

I suggest one of two commentaries:

Keil and Delitzsch (really heavy stuff)

Matthew Henry's Commentary on the Bible (one volume, easier reading, but sound.
