i've heard that the body cannot process vitamins from a pill like from organic foods and so have never taken them.

Many vitamins do just pass right through the body so it's imperative that one does some research to find one that will get into your system so it can do us some good. I take Vita-Lea which has a patented Bioactivated Absorption System enclusive to this brand ensures enhanced absorption of folic acid, a critical component of complete nutrition. Also, 349 quality tests are performed every time Vita-Lea is produced to guarantee purity and potency.

They provide 23 essential vitamins and minerals and they don't skimp on the expensive ingredients. You don't get fillers or an abundance of the cheaper ingredients that other supplements somtimes have.

I've done just a water test on them and they start breaking down within a minute or so; therefore I know that I'm going to get the benefit of the vitamin.

Hope this is useful and for questions feel free to contact me.

Good one's do. You see, the RDA's are way underestimated and the old food pyramid is outdated too. Try the Hi-Tech. Multi-Vitamin, or if you prefer liquid, Pro-Vitamin Complete, it has 178 nutrients!

your body breaks them down just like they break down any other food and absorb the neutrients just the same. The only danger of them is if you start replacing food intake and deprive your body of the callories and other neutrients they dont replace.

the answer to the question, probably depends on the questioner If the questioner is truly asking if multivitamins can cure specific illnesses and diseases, the answer is no. If, on the other hand, the questioner is wondering whether or not a daily multivitamin may "help prevent" the onset of certain medical impairments, the answer is...maybe.
