I have my DVR to record movies when they come on so I really don't use DVDs much at all. Do I need to come to the millenium? Wal-Mart stopped selling VCR tapes...what the f?

I still love my vcr and won't part with it, unless I'm absolutely forced too. I have so many things I taped and classic vhs movies that I still want to enjoy. Don't get me wrong, I like DVD's, but I still have fun watching my tapes. Just call me nostalgic!

My VCR recently crapped out on me. I have a lot of classic VHS tapes that I am keeping and looking into finding a VCR. DVDs are easier to get ruined-scratched. I prefer DVDs but do not want to get rid of and buy new DVDs to replace old VHS.

Keep your VCR and join the millenium use DVD player.

We have a VCR library that will do nothing but grow. Hollywood Video is selling the last of their videos for $3 each. Having difficulty hooking up the DVD player has gotten us into viewing our collection again. Our local video store only has about 5 New Releases on video.
I'm crushed, and not giving up the tapes!
Yeah, I'm coming into the 21st Century with my heels in the ground, lol.

there are a number of accessible that still use a VCR as a by positioned from their DVD gamers to their television. Many go away their television on ch.3 and do all their tuning with the VCR tuner and that is aux. mode. Many are nevertheless up-loading their tapes to DVD, an rather time ingesting technique, so, definite, VCR's would be around a on an analogous time as yet. they are additionally somewhat low priced for all they'd do.

I still use my VCR... Why not? I have spent a lot of money on my old movies and they are in perfect condition, I don't need them on DVD. But I DO also have a DVD player, since new movies don't come in VHS anymore so... you know... I kinda need both.

Yeah, we still have ours. And most of my movie collection is still in VCR form. I can't afford to replace all of them with the DVD version. That will just have to take time. In the meantime, all the music sounds the same to me.
