Probably not, the Go Back Utility is designed to recover files on your computer, the e-mail was on the server used by the company providing the e-mail service. It was never on your computer, unless you physically copy and pasted it into a document. To recover a deleted e-mail you will have to contact your e-mail service provider.

Deleted files are never truly removed from the computer only their name is lost in the FAT directory. Utilities like undelete and Go Back find the file based on its file name. However, the file could be overwritten if new data has been placed on the hard drive. Do this enough times and the file is lost completely. If you are using a big e-mail company then your file may have already been overwritten. The longer you wait, the worse chance you will have of recovering it.

If this is a re-occurring problem then you should switch to an e-mail provider that offers a trash can. Most of these trash cans get emptied on the first of the month though. Lycos.com offers such a feature.
