Yeah, you go into hotmail's e-mail settings and there should be an auto-forward option. Otherwise you should just e-mail the people you hear from on hotmail and tell them your new e-mail address on yahoo from yahoo so they're not confused.

setup a hotmail filter to have all emails from a certain address be sent to your yahoo email address. read their help page about filters

You need a yahoo address to email to. But I don't know if you can do it auto. You may need to buy an advanced email system from them.

While you are in yahoo mail, just click on the FORWARD button and they will get mail from you (what ever your want them to have)..
