How do I search for who called me with just a telephone #?

I'm trying to return a call, but all I have is a phone #. How can I search using just a phone # to get a name?

Try whitepages.com and click on the tab, Reverse Phone. If it is a landline and the person is listed, it will give the name and address of that person. If it is a cell phone number, it will tell you that it's not listed and the name of the cell phone company.

411 is the easiest just tell them that you don't know when they ask city and state and tell them you want to do a reverse search on the #

i always use this site (see below). it works in reverse....so you can just put in the telephone number and hopefully the number is listed. if it isnt...then there wont be any results.
