There are three 2.4 liter engines (base, and high output, turbocharged 2.4 liter) for 2007. There is also a diesel for sale outside North America.

I'm not aware of a V6 in the works for PT, and given the size of the engine compartment, I would say the packaging problems would be really tough. I don't think its going to happen.

No. The best ofer is to get the GT with the 240 hp turbo charged 4cyl. You will be hard pressed to get 240 hp. out of a 6 cyl.

I don't think so, they do come with a turbocharged 4 cylinder motor, the gas mileage is weak for it being a 4 cylinder engine, even a Toyota Avalon offers better gas mileage than that.

4 cyl. = less gas used V6 = more gas to pay for at current rates and still be driving same vehicle do the math what would you preferre

Why would you want a PT Cruiser, period? A V6 Engine won't make it any better

no there isnt any plans on a v-6 all they are doing now is a turbo 2.4 only
