Yesterday I installed Firefox as my browser, but after trying it for a day, I decided I liked my old one better. So I uninstalled Mozilla Firefox. But now when I click on my "internet" icon on my desktop, nothing happens. Even when I try to get into my e-mail from my messenger, nothing happens. Can anyone help me?

As far as I know, yahoo is NOT a browser. Internet Explorer (IE), Opera, Netscape, Firefox (and others which could be there) are browsers. Yahoo is a searching machine, among other things, but not a browser. But...go to your C: disc, Program files. There has to be INTERNET EXPLORER folder, if you did not uninstall it before install Firefox. Open the Internet Explorer folder, click on the icon of explorer and the browser must open. I hope this to be useful for you.

If you click on start, then right click the INTERNET icon and go to PROPERTIES (it may also let you right click on your desktop INTERNET icon too) and then go to PROGRAMS then you can click on RESET WEB SETTINGS and it will restore the internet explorer settings back to default.
